Photography Challenge: Developing Your Eye

Day Two: Prompt-Streets

So, today the Daily Post asked me to photograph a street, in a wide angle shot preferably from a height.

This photograph was taken from Guru Shikhar, the highest peak of the Aravallis located in Rajasthan, India. The winding street in the frame leads to the Mount Abu Infra Red Observatory (altitude- 1680 metres). The villages surrounding the town of Mount Abu are visible in the background.

If you ever happen to find yourself in the vicinity of Mount Abu, do head up to Guru Shikhar. The place does get crowded with tourists, but the breathtaking views and the winds you can experience from the top are worth the trouble.

Here is a list of the other photographs I have taken so far for the Developing Your Eye challenge.
